MATADEROS ~ a photo visit
the feria at mataderos is another favorite weekend activity….
not too many “foreign” tourists, but lots of argentines head to the outskirts to enjoy folkloric music and dancing in the center of town, the gauchos competing with their horses on sunday afternoon (but not in the heat of summer), and to buy handcrafted specialty items not easily found in other parts of the city….
in november 2008, i took laval, a lovely new friend from north of quebéc city in canada…we had lots of fun!
